Job Description The candidate will be responsible for managing projects while utilizing matrix project teams composed of Development, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Operations personnel. o The individual is expected to provide successful project management and delivery for a variety of projects o Projects may involve developing requirements, evaluating alternative solutions and implementing new systems and procedures o Projects use a mix of internal and outsourced, local and remote resources for project delivery o The individual is expected to study and understand the business requirements and to have the expertise and the ability to provide technical direction, motivation and encouragement to the team
Required Skills o Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. o 8-10 years experience required Skills o Working knowledge of full software development life cycle from requirements gathering to post-implementation production support, including quality assurance and system integration o Strong team player, with the ability to communicate with both technical and business people, at all levels of the organization o Excellent analysis skills, including the ability to think strategically, and be able to manage multiple projects at same time effectively o Ability to analyze complex project situations, set goals and objectives, and manage situations to satisfactory completion o PMP certification required o Knowledge of financial tools or equivalent o MS Office, MS Project and/or Open Workbench expertise
