Job Description
This position will support the Eclipsys Sunrise Decision Support System. The system is used across the health system for financial planning, reporting, utilization management, and clinical reporting. The candidate MUST have expert knowledge for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of procedures used to update and improve data for analysis.

This is a Part-time position, 20 hours a week. Flexible schedule.

The analyst works on a broad variety of assignments, the majority of which require an advanced level of programming skills and analytic competency and the ability to tap a broad knowledge base and skill set. The analyst works with end users to coordinate the implementation and support of the decision support system, applications, and/or interfaces by providing the building, testing, training, support, maintenance and enhancements required for data analysis.

Duties & Essential Job Functions

SDS Mainframe TSI Application:

* Maintain/Develop an overall working knowledge of all aspects of TSI system
* Maintain/Develop expert knowledge of data structure and elements
* Upload, Audit and Post data into TSI System
* Utilizing pre-defined application processing jobs
* M204 FLOD processing (Fast Load)
* Work with Revenue Management Analyst to ensure all data tables needed for reimbursement processing are loaded and updated on a regular basis.
* Maintain/Develop daily, monthly, quarterly and annual processing activities including but not limited to: reconciliation of the Eclipsys patient database to the Clients financial statement(s); patient database to clients financial statement(s); monthly and annual updates of RVU values/cost accounting standards, monthly adjustment of expected reimbursement to more accurately reflect how the medical center was reimbursed.

Database Administration:

* Mainframe Model 204 Database
* Work as an active assistant to IT and external Eclipsys data support personnel
* Work with DB Administrator to ensure all service packs and program fixes are updated and installed to system successfully
* Work with DB Administrator to ensure system files are maintained and reorganized routinely
* Assist with audits, updates and validation of all TSI data using a wide variety of tools including TSI system functions and Model 204 Programming language
* Maintain user database and security for TSI system applications in compliance with all federal and state privacy laws.
* Microsoft Access
* Maintain and administer internal DSS MS Access Database used for various reporting needs


User Support:
* Communicate via email distribution list any/all issues related to the TSI on-line availability, data structure changes, etc.
* Coordinate training and instructions in utilization of applications


Programming Languages:
* Model 204 Procedural Language
* Perform complex data analysis and extraction
* Perform data maintenance/modification
* Advanced ETL (extract, transform, load) Processes
Required Skills
Requirements/Qualifications:

* TSI processing is a MUST HAVE.
* Knowledge of finance and information technology as normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
* Four to six years experience in healthcare administration, three of which were in a decision support or similar information analysis role
* Advanced skill in use of spreadsheet, relational database and word processing software.
* Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis techniques and specialized software.
