Job Description Our client seeks a NOC Technician for a full-time, direct hire position. This role is responsible for: -Proactive monitoring of the health and status of the production network elements to include, but not limited to: main-frames, AS400, POS, job processing, backups, terminal units, routers, managed switches, Linux based servers, and facilities monitoring. -Escalating issues when needed -Updating SOP's as the environment is updated -Managing emails for NOC and OCC when needed and responding to incoming requests from customers -Creating and managing tickets. Hours are 3:30pm to 12:30am.
Required Skills *2+ years of previous NOC experience *MUST be comfortable working a command line as well as GUI environment *Ability to work day, evening, or night shifts and holidays as required *Flexible with the ability to handle stressful situations *High motivation to get the job done and remove barriers *Demonstrated troubleshooting skills particularly in the area of telecommunications and data networks *Would like Previous experience working with SOP's *Excellent customer interactions skills *Knowledge on the configuration of windows based PCs If you are interested, please email your resume to jason@pegastaff.com
