Job Description Contract-to-hire opportunity! * Sr. Software Engineer needed on small dedicated team to support the upgrade and administration of a database for a regional Traffic Mgt. System. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. * Candidate will also be tasked to develop other system specific software using C++ where needed. * Qualified applicant should be an experienced database programmer with the Informix RDBMS, preferably on SPARC/UNIX. * Experience as database administrator is also required.
Required Skills * Informix RDBMS * C++ * SQL * Visual Studio IDE * Bachelor's Degree * 6+ years experience in software development * Experience with Geographical Information Systems (GIS), MS-SQL Server, NTCIP, and SNMP technologies is a plus.
