Job Description
The Project scheduler is responsible for scheduling all activities associated with assigned projects. This includes producing a coordinated Critical Path Schedule for the entire project and highlighting any potential problem areas.


* Schedule commissioning and construction activities for assigned projects. This may require site visits and coordination with construction subcontractors and site manager to highlight problem areas and recommend work around.
* Implement and update progress reporting system for assigned projects.
* Assist project manager in presentations/reports to the customer/company management.
* Assist project manager in developing workarounds for project schedule problems.

Travel between Georgia and Pittsburgh up to 25% per month.
Required Skills
* Bachelor in Engineering or Construction Management preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
* 5+ years scheduling experience with an engineering/construction company
* Thorough knowledge of engineering/manufacturing/construction logistics, resource planning and material management.
* Experience in construction projects in the following industries is preferred:
1. Metals
2. Water
3. Paper
4. Oil and Gas
5. Marine
* Experience with Earned Value Progress Measurement for engineering and construction.
* Proficient in MS Project / Project Server and Primavera 5.0 scheduling and Excel spreadsheet software.
* Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
