Position Title	Oracle Financials Tech Lead	Duration	12 mo
Job Description We have an opening for Oracle Financials Tech Lead at our client. They need someone who has Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in applications and technology pertinent to Corporate Business Systems (CBS), including, but not limited to: * Understand business requirements, architecture, development and implementation of Oracle Financial Applications using standard coding best practices, AIM methodology and Oracle's development tools *Will direct the day-to-day tasks of development resources to achieve a particular project's goals Reports status to the Development Manager, escalating issues on a timely basis and seeking assistance where necessary * Participates in project meetings with Development Team, Solutions Integrator (SI), and other IT teams (Operations, Engineering, Technology Office, Security, etc) * Will coordinate all requests for IT activity related to their project(s) * Works closely with customers to review business requirements, explain alternatives, and recommend solutions * Works closely with the SI Project Manager to ensure that SI is aligned with IT best practices * Enforces standards in coding/naming conventions and other relevant controls * Checks that policies, procedures and key controls are followed * Participates in Design and Code walk-throughs * Coordinates with the QA team and participates in testing * Coordinates with the Release Management team on cutover activities * Ensures that project knowledge is appropriately transitioned to Support * Previous Project Management experience would be advantageous
Required Skills * Bachelors Degree * Minimum of 8 years experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Applications with emphasis on: * iProcurement * iExpense * iSupplier * Purchasing * Cash Management, Payables, Assets, General Ledger, and Projects. * Oracle eBusiness Suite 11i and r12 (technical and functional knowledge) * Oracle database and tools (SQL, PL/SQL, Developer 6i, jDeveloper, OA Framework, XML Publisher, SSO/OID, etc) * Oracle Fusion Middleware * Java * Web Services * Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems * Other eBusiness Suite-related applications such as Discoverer, Noetix, ADI, 170 Systems MarkView, LogicalApps, Evergreen * Other CBS applications * Has proven experience influencing a diverse team, without a direct reporting relationship * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and sustaining a high level of performance when under pressure * Comfortable communicating at all levels within the organization Will act as the SME on one or more simultaneous projects
