Position Title	Sr Procurement Engineer/Electrical Engineer	Duration	3 mo
Job Description + The Electrical engineer role will review and approve board level component substitutions, manage technical issues for PCB layout outsource activity, support PCB vendors, determine impact of end of life components and develop migration path to replacements. + Support outside vendors with Circuit board layout, handling Engineering Change Orders, Supplier evaluations, design to cost activities. + Analyze assemblies for cost savings opportunities, plan and implement changes to realize cost reductions for electronic and electrical products and sub-assemblies. + Participate in the product manufacturing and/or product development process in undertaking and pushing forward complex cost reduction measures (design to cost, target costing, standardization, key data, etc.) to achieve the target costs for materials and reduce the overall material costs. + Provide complex support for projects in lines of business to provide optimum input for quotes, workshops, scope of material (BoM assessment) and realization of potential for savings.
Required Skills *Must have PCB experience *Must have Electrical Engineer background *Must be able to read blueprints *Experience with defining board level test requirements *Experience with MRP system *Strong Electronic CAD systems experience *Bachelors Degree in Electrical Enginnering or Electronic Engineering *PE certification (desired) *Strong Microsoft office skills
