Job Description Growing company in the East Valley is looking to add a key member to their team. This position is open due to growth! This company is looking for an experienced Security Technician. This position is responsible for performing a variety of basic security systems installations and service calls. Knowledge base should include basic understanding in CCTV, DVR, Intrusion Detection and Card Access systems. -Assist in installations and interconnect per designs. -Support and participate in shop and field testing as directed by manager. -Keep results accurately cataloged as defined by division standards or project specs. -Deliver project materials when required. -Provide assistance for response to RFB, RFQ, RFP and RFI. -Demonstrate common safety practices. -Conduct and/or attend training/safety meetings, supporting all directives and requirements regarding OSHA. -Perform basic software & hardware installation. -Complete work orders and tasks as assigned. -Rack and stack equipment. -Perform documentation as instructed, including labeling. -Perform configurations as requested by the peers. -Check in and return job materials as dictated. -Assist with troubleshooting & processing service related tickets as assigned by Managed Services
Required Skills * Basic Knowledge of Windows XP. * Understanding and working knowledge of PC's & printers. * Ability to interpret technical documentation & electrical blueprints. * Basic understanding in Microsoft applications including Office Professional. * Security system product knowledge is a plus. * Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills. * Position requires occasional extended hours (OT) and assigned to on-call status * Must possess valid driver's license and be insurable.
