Position Title	Electrical Engineer	Duration	5 mo
Job Description This position will support outside vendors with Circuit board layout, handling Engineering Change Orders, Supplier evaluations and design to cost activities. The Electrical engineer will review and approve board level component substitutions, manage technical issues for PCB layout outsource activity, support PCB vendors, determine impact of end of life components and develop migration path to replacements. The candidate will analyze assemblies for cost savings opportunities, plan and implement changes to realize cost reductions for electronic and electrical products and sub-assemblies. This position participates in the product manufacturing and/or product development process in undertaking and pushing forward complex cost reduction measures (design to cost, target costing, standardization, key data, etc.) to achieve the target costs for materials and reduce the overall material costs. The candidate provides complex support for projects in lines of business to provide optimum input for quotes, workshops, scope of material (BoM assessment) and realization of potential for savings.
