Job Description
PegaStaff is looking for a staffing/office coordinator to join our team!
This opportunity will allow the right individual to gain hands-on exposure to many different elements of the company. We are looking for someone who is professional in both manner and presence, with successful experience in general office and administrative support. The Office Administrator will be responsible for our staffing office operations and will keep the recruiting and sales teams running smoothly.
This position will start out as part time with the opportunity to move into full time work.

Job Responsibilities:
- Reception duties including answering the phones, greeting visitors
- Assist in generating and preparing contracts
- Perform research to assist in lead generation for sales team
- Source for qualified candidates on select IT positions
- Manage correspondence and incoming mail
- Assist human resources in new hire on-boarding, including generating offers letters, coordinating and collecting new hire paperwork, setting up new hire employee files, etc.
- Coordinate timesheet collection and entry for payroll and
- Oversee general office operations including managing office supplies inventory and general office vendor relationships
- Assist with bookkeeping related functions in QuickBooks, such as payroll administration, timesheet collection, finance file maintenance, invoicing, etc.
- General maintenance of office equipment (postage meter, fax machine, copier and printers)
- Provide administrative support to the management team
- Plan and coordinate in-office special events
- Assist with special projects as needed
Required Skills
- BA/BS degree
- Minimum 2 years experience, preferably in administrative role
- Strong organizational and creative problem solving skills coupled with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- High degree of initiative with demonstrated ability to handle confidential information, and highly dependable.
- Highly detail-oriented and accurate
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications ( Excel, Word); proficient in Internet use and research
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, small company environment
- Experience with basic accounting functions (i.e. accts payable, payroll administration, etc) preferred
- Exposure to administering human resource functions desired
- Good grammatical and proofreading skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal)
